Brownfield Cleanup and Site Revitalization

The Butler County Land Bank is excited for opportunities to support and facilitate site clean up in preparation for future development, much like these projects in the cities of Hamilton and Middletown.

Pictured Left: The Butler County Land Bank was able to grant the City of Hamilton funds for the removal abandoned gas tanks at the site of the cities new Justice Center. This allowed the project to stay on budget and on time.

Pictured Middle and Right: The Butler County Land Bank is teaming up with Patriot Engineering to help a Middletown small business owner take advantage of the Ohio Department of Development “Abandoned Gas Station Cleanup Grant”. This will breathe new life into the once-vacant site, revitalizing it for productive use and providing a Middletown neighborhood with a thriving business establishment in place of an empty building.
